224 Wallace Avenue, Studio #118
My studio is located in the historic General Electric factory building. I’m on the main floor.
Drivers: The building is at the first set of lights north of Bloor, one block west of Lansdowne. There is parking available along the side of the building on Ward St. which runs north/south. Find a spot in a “reserved” area along the wall. If all of these spots are full, there is additional parking in a fenced area just north of the building, after the loading dock area. Enter through the side door located half way along the building by the yellow fire hydrant, or enter through the main doors at 224 Wallace Avenue.
Commuters: Take the Bloor/Danforth subway line to Lansdowne station. With your transfer, take the Lansdowne 47 bus north two stops to Wallace Avenue, or walk two blocks north of Bloor Street along Lansdowne. Cross the street going west along Wallace Avenue for one block. Enter the building through the main doors.
Cyclists: There are several bike lock posts outside the main entrance.
